I went to odsal to buy my ticket and get a seat for my granddaughter, who is a junior season ticket holder, to be told I have to pay £5 for her seat, which is the price of a junior in our East stand, which means I dont actually get her in for free. EVERY away game I have been to over the last few years has been no charge for junior season ticket holders, and bulls junior season ticket holders will be able to go to every other ground at no price.
I have emailed the rfl, but done expect a response.'"
As much as I agree that Bradford's prices seem more than a little steep, the stipulation for the free ground entry certainly in SL and therefore I would expect the Championship is that the junior season tickets only allow for free 'ground' entry to away games and not necessarily for a seat. Whether other Championship clubs have been turning a blind eye to that or if they are even aware of it is another matter, but Bradford are unfortunately well within their rights and it's something that is common practice in Super League, even more so now that most clubs don't even offer the free entry on a matchday and only do it in advance.
