Everyone can comment on a team based on lack of tries but that never tells the whole story. Today we took some poor decisions especially Murrell but we should of scored more with a little luck. Charlie is just trying to do what i see him do and that is comment on something he knows nowt about just to wind people up. Last week I would have said that Fev didn't have that much improvement in them. On the face of it it looks like the DR additions have made a significant difference and maybe Bulls got lucky playing them last week. Is there some reason why Halifax are not using their DR or is there some type of principle involved.

We should have won. We didn't need DR players today. Just better decisions/plays from our own team. On another day, we'd have won comfortably.

I have seen Fax once this season agreed but I can see how many tries you have scored ,Stevie Wonder can see that,I admit my posts are sometimes wind ups , but I can be serious and try to give an unbiased opinion just because it doesn't tally with yours,that how an Austrian painter and decorater started.

We look nowhere near the class we had back in 2010 and we haven't replaced those players from that period with like for like or better. Branighan, Black, Royston, Penky, Beswick - all dangerous playmakers.

Once again we have a team that cannot beat top four sides. We've lost AT HOME AGAIN today against a club that's financially on it 'arris and who came to us on the back of a mauling by the Bulls. I'm afraid right now that a top four spot is way out of our capabilities.

It's frustrating but we're in a league now that has gotten even stronger - we must do the same. It's not easy with the financial pressures but others are doing it. Sheffield - one example. How the hell do they do it? They haven't even got a home!!

Rich you are right in your first paragraph,but those days as with those players are long gone,RM must play the cards he has,the way he sees it,at the moment the wet grounds are not suiting Fax ,whats the answer?I wish I knew but Fax are not scoring enough tries ,I like the look of the defence but it's already been said without a 6 and 7 you won't create much.
Don't look on the Seagulls with envy ,I've been told they have very generous Sponsors ,maybe no ground but they have recruited well also.

Who is impressed with Place so far? He looks slow and cumbersome and not a great kicking game (when Murrell let's him have a go).I know it's bad weather but can you really see the firmer ground making much difference? Looks a poor signing so far.
