I wonder if the Fax fans posting on here are representative of their fans in general or just a vociferous few. The latter I suspect the same as on all forums.

Which group are you talking about?
What im reading is,the majority dont like it but are happy to go along with it,whilst there are 3 or 4 who are saying thanks but no thanks.

There seems to be a wide range of viewpoints on here regarding DR as a whole, a few of them are below and there are likely others as well.

Some will not go to any games as long as Fax are DR linked to any club.

Some will go to games as long as no players from the DR club are in the team.

Some will just keep going as before and see how it works out.

It has nothing to do with the actual link to HKR as such, so it's not a personal thing against you or your club, HKR have a proud history as a club just has Fax have which no one can deny or are trying to do.

Just how the for and against numbers pan out will be seen in how many turn up when the team is picked.

In any case the views on here by anyone are just their views and not really representative of anything other than that.

I was not suggesting that it had anything to do with the partner club being HKR. Forums tend to be visited by a very small percentage of fans and commented on by even less. Those anti something tend to be more vociferous than those in favour. I was merely wondering how representative those on here were of the support in general. We will never actually know what the silent majority think. As you say numbers attending this season will give some indication but then again other factors will no doubt play there part.

I think attendances will be up this season & will grow if we prove competitive which in my opinion we will, those on here who have said they will not attend because of DR will be a very small number, maybe some will change there minds when they here from others how we are playing and the different professional attitude the club are showing. The BOD have pulled out all the stops this season and I for one applaud them for that, I hope they are rewarded with a tremendous season.

What does it matter? This is a public Forum where People post opinions that are mostly neither right or wrong. I dont Need People who think they know it all to tell me that my opinions are wrong or that I am not a true fan if I dont agree with a decision by my Club. I dont care about Hull KR or any other Club to be honest in the SL. I dont agree with the partnership- thats my opinion whether others like it or not. It doesnt really interest me that others agree or that they will or not attend games. You seem to think ist a good idea. Thats your opinion. I dont tell you that your opinion is right or wrong or whether that covers the opinion of most of HKR fans. Whether i and others like the DRs and Partnership is not going to Change things in the short term. That doesnt mean we are not allowed to post our thoughts. What gives you the right to say why mine and others opinions are wrong or whether we in your words talk for a Group- which we dont as its individual opinions?

I've said that I don't agree with DR as it is , in my opinion, for the SL clubs to allow their over sized squads to get game time. To be honest I don't think many people do like it, but the majority accept that it is there. Last season James Laithwaite played for Swinton against us and I thought he was a waste of space, since then he seems to be a regular in the Warrington team so it's either that I am completely wrong or he did not know what moves were taking place or big, numb SL players have no skills other than running in a straight line. I'd say that for a player to drop in on Thursday/ Friday to a squad he is going to find it hard work fitting in to the style of play so how much it will benefit Fax remains to be seen.

When did I say that your opinion is wrong? It is a your personal view based on limited information and your own prejudices as are all our opinions. An opinion cannot be wrong. It can be agreed with or disagreed with. I happen to disagree with your opinion.

I think we all accept that DR isn't right, and as Karl Harrison said, if somethings not right it's wrong. So if it's wrong we shouldn't have owt to do with it. It makes no difference who the 'partnership' involves, it's wrong. It makes no difference who gains or loses out from it, it's wrong. It may help Fax out over a short period of time, but not in the long run. I would rather take a step back, yes another one, and then progress alone. To sum it up, it's just wrong, wrong, wrong.
