Quote: 'alifax "Seems reasonable. We give our opponents 48 hours notice on our team selection so that you can decide whether you may or may not attend the game..
Quick question though, if we loan a player from say Warrington for a month to cover an injury, would you attend any of those games?'"
Yeah, to answer your first part of your response, i think they term it at the RFL something like "48 hour 19 man matchday squad" it's been in place for a while now. Working on the assumption that our games will almost exclusively be played on a sunday & SL games can be almost any day or night of the week i reckon at least 17 of the Hull KR boys can sort of be not considered for selection at Halifax, but no doubt this is open to abuse, probably by the parent club.
Yes of course i would, it hasn't stopped me over the last 40-odd years. I'd also watch a team from the lower divisions if we loaned them any of our players too. Nothing much has been mentioned of us bringing players in from a tier below what we play at, think back to Luke Brannigan or his ilk, did us no harm either. I like to see things from every angle & i still conclude that dual-reg is wrong, morally it's wrong, the SL club gets all the SKY money, end of story.
