Victim ? Don't act the clown you silly old man. What are you talking about victim for, what do you mean ? You really are arguementative aren't you ? Your'e only going to the Shay on sunday 'cos you've got nothing else to do in reality.

If you want a "victim" story i can give you one but it's only for the purpose of this discussion and has never ever bothered me in the slightest, because until the pathetic onfield performances this season & some terrible business decisions by our b.o.d. i've always been a proud Halifax RLFC person but if you insist, here goes:

I was sacked off as a Colts/ A team player by the club as a 19 year old.
My old man was made redundant by the club as a full time employee by mr Wood.
I was discarded without any formal or informal notice as the club scholarship co-ordinator and talent i.d. only a few years ago when the scheme was disbanded, yet for some reason or other if you look at the official staff listings on the club website, I am still named in that role, that in itself tells me something about the running of the club ( in my opinion ) after the scholarship scheme has been inactive for around three or four years now !!!

My youngest son was released from the Academy at the end of last season after being with the club for about 5 years ( apart from 1 season at a local SL club inbetween )

Yet still, those personal/family setbacks from the club didn't affect my support for the club in any way, it was the players on the field & i might add some of their off-field performances that got me feeling this way.
