The supporter in question clearly hadn't seen the incident at all (was he even at the game?) as there is no way in a million years it could be said that the challenge was "from behind".

As to intent etc., that's up to the RFL to decide.

It was me who stated that. I was there and at the time I initially thought it was. Having had the chance to see it numerous times since on video, it clearly wasn't so apologies for that. It wasn't a case of misleading anyone it was a genuine error.

I can post what I like as long as keep to the aup. If what I post I later realise is a mistake I as are others am perfectly entitled to correct it. It's easy to be wise after the event. I stand by what I said at the time it was said. Now I know what I thought at the time was incorrect I have said so.

Yes, it's really easy ("View your posts" would be a start), but the point is that you provoked a situation by stating that it was from behind. The facts prove otherwise. That's what's happens on the pitch sometimes - someone provokes a situation and others react.

Dane comes over maybe as a bit of a "hot head" (others would say passionate), but that applies to a lot of sportsmen where physical contact is the name of the game. I don't know him personally, so I can only say what I see - and that's that he's totally committed to the Fax club and team.

None of us (in the stands) know what he was thinking or what provocation before, or during, the game had gone on.
