Spanishbob was a very creditable runner up.
What a good day.
Breakfast at Wetherspoon, on to Neil's charabang, couple of drinks at the ground, enjoyable game with some nice Dockers in the crowd and then home for a few drinks with Mrs halifaxjohn.
Int life brilliant.
Good effort. I enjoyed the day, good to see Craven Park with the new stand. Good run out for Worrincy, who looked good after a few initial rusty moves. Rettie was on as well.
Good second half performance against a very gutsy dockers side. Game played in a great spirit no dirty stuff from our opponents. Well done to the warrior, letting the ball through his legs and into touch apart. Sam brooks looked a good prospect(was also impressed with him at Cas on Boxing Day) looked a good side when we played some football.
Pleased for dockers that they got a try. They deserved at least that. Good luck to them for rest of season apart from when they play siddal. They played some decent rugby in that first half.

I can not believe a ground is allowed in Super League, Championship 1 or 2 or even BARLA, if they do not serve chips.
I could have stayed at home and had no chips.

Should be the first requirement before being allowed in the league. That and serving lager
Good to score 70 points and sounds like we had to work for it which is good. Glad the Dockers came to play Rugby and didnt get into playing stupid rugby which does happen sometimes. I am pleased for Rob to get 5 tries as will give him much confidence and hopefully Karl gives him a run out more often. You want a winger to score tries and Rob does that. He is a crowd pleaser and people want to watch up run with the ball not sat in the stands. I hear Holden and Brook went well and would hope both are given some more game time and that Karl has learnt his lessons from last year when youngsters didnt get much of a run. Well done the Dockers and well done Fax
