Season over?! Get a grip!

We must improve but it's not over!

It's only just begun and there will be a lot of twists and turns yet that's for sure.

I can see the pressure / frustration each section is under.

A massive year for the club because of the structure change.

The BOD and "Friends" investing heavily for the campaign Knowing how important it is and Knowing the coach is not the favourite of the month.

KH selling his buisness interests to take on the job full time Knowing how some of the supporters feel.

The players aware of the importance of the season Knowing that they have been written off by many.

Not the perfect start, even so.

None of the above thinks it's over.

And us Knowing all the above, are we going to walk away??????????

To be honest it's not so much the results as the poor excuses for it, we've shipped points in the final quarter of 3 games and all we get I'd ' we were unlucky'. No we were poor now get over it and start playing some rugby that will bring in the crowds.

That sums the season so far up for me. 5 drives and a kick is boring but sometimes necessary. In two of the games (Fev/Batley), when we needed that sort of game to close things out, we started making mistakes and/or giving penalties away.

If we'd held on at Featherstone, and had won the game by 2 points yesterday rather than losing by 2, we'd still probably be saying that it's pretty boring stuff... but we'd all be happy to be sitting on 9 points and waiting for Sheffield to visit next weekend.

The season isnt over yet true - for me its not just the style of Rugby we play which is boring but generally effective - there used to be a real buzz at The Shay on match day - look at first day of season , no offers (bring your kid for free or bring a friend) , no band , no music , no kids playing rugby at half time - the good Dr at Salford is right you have to give people a reason to come not just expect them to - not everyone is on social media.
