Completely agree. There has been next to no marketing for the games as far as I can see. The club seem to think that if they have a good side the crowds will come. That isn't the case anymore. They need to have a big marketing push. They said 90% of tickets sold for the RLWC were to people in Calderdale. There isn't a better time than now to ram Fax down their throats.

Very true, anything can, and probably will happen. It seems that Leigh are demolishing everyone at the moment, and fair enough. You have a very good side. From our perspective, we are slowly improving and might just end up a decent team again if we can continue to progress at the rate we seem to be. I think I posted on the Leigh forum that the game against you was too early and so it proved. Still, of our three games so far this season, we have reversed last years result in two of them so can't be all that bad.
As for Halifax, something not quite right with them at the moment, but I wish them luck, as I do with Leigh.

Good post mate, but I did think it was two VERY poor teams yesterday.
Maybe two teams not playing at their best, however l would say that any team this season will be delighted to get a win at your place. I would also like to bet that, as poor as both might have been yesterday, neither will be far away from the top four come the business end of the season.

Doggy you speak very wise words at the present time Leigh are playing very fast flowing rugby , BUT injuries and loss of form happen , I take nowt for granted , though I feel the Seagulls have had a couple of injury free seasons and could be light on forwards this season , I also admit to enjoying my trips to the Shay and the Mount .
