I might be a boring old fart but I also agree with this. I also think that we should only change shirts in case of a colour clash and not just for the sake of it. As a club we have pride in the Blue and White Hoops and everyone knows who we are. With V we could be confused with Swinton or Barrow or Featherstone, who have all included it from time to time. Although the new shirt is good looking I won't be buying one. I will be wearing one of my traditional ones until we get another hooped one. I bought a coaches coat this season instead, to wear at the World Cup games, for the traditional weather.
As regards the red and white shirts. I would have to consult the club historian about this but I believe that we used them as a change strip[ because they were the original choice for the Fax colours but didn't arrive in time for the first game! Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong
