I don`t think they paid their rent to the Council then , it was paid to the SST so hence the £14,000 owed to them and was probably one of the reasons why they had to wind up due to lack of funds. |

Firstly, either we're a new club and "you've been playing at The Shay longer than us" or we're a continuation of the old club in which case you can try to throw the past at us. Can't have it both ways I'm afraid.
Secondly, if you're dragging up the past, a big chunk of those liabilities were caused by the failure of the rugby club to invest the Thrum Hall money in The Shay as promised. You'll find that's the reason why The Football Trust were on that list.
Thirdly, the SST didn't go bust at all.
Fourthly, look at Johnny Freeman Fan Club's signature. "Learn from the past". You seem to be using our previous problems as some kind of justification for being £250,000 in the red and over 12 months in rent arrears. We're a prime example of what happens when you don't pay what you owe or ignore the warning signs and just expect things to 'sort themselves out'.
So moving to the ever more relevant present why not worry about your own 6 figure liabilities, stop burying your heads in the stand and demand answers from your club as to how the debt is going to be managed.

Quite agree, as the Italian team arrived on the Saturday for a training session the AFC Halifax Town "supporters" were getting in to their taxi's for the trip to MK Dons, there behaviour was a disgrace.
