Little was known of Abbott until the company check, it isn't good reading. The fact that your accounts don't look too good and you owe rent of £52,000 doesn't help your cause.

What you on about regards the Stadium Trust, Michael Steele was very pro SST and if it had a) some money and b) been run by the right people not the ones who ran it very badly and would not listen to anybody else and had the wrong person in Geoff Butler as Chief Executive (also a big Town fan funnily enough) it might have worked but remember it went bust. Why? Bad management and not enough income, now the East Stand is complete a Stadium Company would have a better chance of making it work but ONLY if money was invested in more facilities to create income streams which is what Reactiv are planning.
NO way do I want to see EITHER club involved in running the Shay, it will only work as a private company or a 'not for profit' Community Interest Company with guarantees to ensure it remains for sport (which I have to ask why would it not now it has 3 decent stands?) for both clubs play there and that if it does not work out it is handed back to the Council.

Now the gloating by Town fans is nearly over and the dust has settled, some of them are finally realizing that their `revelations` about Fax will not strengthen the views that the Shay shouldnt be sold, it actually weaken them in the eyes of the people that matter.

Not only will it not slow down the sale of the Shay it will probably quicken it and Town fans can take some credit for that.

That's had a whole host of problems over the past few years, since Ken Davey moved the Football clubs shares into his own company for £1 a few years ago, and only recently sold them back, making a 100% profit in the process.

Another pill-ock of a football fan on here, trying to cause problems. Get it in to your thick head The Shay does not belong to you or your Football club. You threw that chance away and are just squatters/tenants like us. The Shay is not a community asset - very few- less than 5% of the Calderdale Population regularly visit it. The Shay is a stadium that will never reach its potential while under Calderdale Council control. One day the Council will sell it whether it be tomorrow, next year or some time in the distant future. Whether Tony Abbott is the right person I dont know but then neither do you. We get that a large number of pathetic football scroats dont like Fax or Tony Abbott. But why do you lot feel the need to abuse the bloke and ruin his reputation here, on your forum and in the general public domain? Such pathetic actions make you all look stupid.
