Surely from a crowd and atmosphere perspective, Sunday would be the best day.

Plus we're part time, I'd rather our working players be fresh and ready to play rather than having a day at work before the biggest game of the season.

Good news only giving our opponents 4 days turn around. If Sheffield manage to get past Dewsbury their players will be broken the amount of rugby they have played.

From a crowd perspective - the 7pm kick off on a Thursday is a joke. Makes it difficult for those of us that dont work in Halifax to get to the game in good time - cant have a couple of pints beforehand etc.

Time to ditch this premier sports deal - yes it's good exposure for the game but if all this exposure doesn't result in higher crowd figures for the clubs whats the point (given the club doesnt get anything from premier sports for screening it?).

Also hurts season ticket sales - I can't commit to one of these next year if all the top games are going to be on a Thursday (which seems to happen often).

Time for a re-think on the deal.

Agree with Jaffro by the way. Midweek games can go and suck my balls. I gave up religion so I could watch Rugby League on Sundays. I'm going to hell and now they've moved it all to midweek.
