Long way to get there from Gran canaria. Wish I could've been there though.

I was there, but please remember Sheffield is not an easy place for some to get to on a Friday evening, that's why they pick evening games.

Aye, I know what you mean Chris. Fortunately i was on earlies this week so i had chance to go last night & i should be OK in a fortnight's time should we play thursday or friday. This thursday night matches versus my shifts is just one of the things that really bugs me in the last couple of years but i suppose we have to go with it.

I wasn't having a go at the faithful that couldn't make it last night, but it's only just over an hour there (1hr 15min for me last night, with a detour given the delays on the M1), but support on the terraces really does make a difference to the team.

We were giving "high fives" to them all as they went into the tunnel as they left the pitch last night - if we'd not been there to do that then the "buzz" from winning (which does feed forward to the next game) is naturally lowered.

The "18th man" on the terraces is very real!
