I suppose its early days in the recruitement process for next season but can't help feeling totally underwhelmed at the prospect of Brown & Mennell playing for the club. Need players with quick hands and real pace to break down the opposition. Considering next season is our most important for ten years and the best we can get is these two!

Murrell is the only decent signing that I can think has been made under Harrison so what is there to show we are suddenly going to start with a raft of what would be perceived as good signings?

If these rumoured signings are correct I remain seriously unimpressed as, I would imagine, will most Fax supporters. Our average attendance has gone down by almost 500 (over 20%) since last year and I can't really see signings of this calibre tempting them back or indeed attracting new supporters.
I really hate to appear negative and I hope the club have some more impressive signings in the pipeline as next year is MASSIVE!

Id be quite happy with Kaye/Holden being our hooking options.

Well said. I also think brown is s good player. It's all rumers any way. Let's wait untill signings are confirmed and then when they are let's give them a chance before we start moaning. Some fax fans are so pesamistic they would find fault somewhere if we signed cooper cronke and Cameron smith.

Let's wait untill season is over which hopefully won't be untill the end of september before we think about next season and wait untill signings are confirmed and have played a few games for us before we start to criticise, which hopefully we won't need to. He`s not replacing Thackery, he is replacing Handforth. If you had given me a choice of any No.6 in our league last year I would have gone for him. Sheffield`s rise and final win last season was influenced by his performances. Don't really understand why he moved to York, unless it was the money. We need a good scrum half to compliment his play, but look around, who is there ?
