Academic but why would we take Penky when handforth is clearly the outstanding hooker in the Championship?

The loudest applause for today, and this season so far, must go to Rhino. Someone sat behind me at Doncaster said that he hasn't made a bad signing since he came back, and I agree. Players like Handforth and Thackeray have taken time to settle into the team but, despite fans getting on their backs for most of last season, Harrison stuck with them. Handforth has been excellent all season and it is really pleasing to see Rhino's faith in Thackeray bear fruit. The same comments can be made about several other players, such as Tyrer and Heaton, who are really starting hit their straps.
And his signing of Murrell was inspired. Fantastic player

Friend of mine said about 2/3rds of the way through the game that Murrell is clearly the best player in this division and I totally agree with him. His all round game is better than any player I have seen at this level, and that's no disrespect to any of the others.

Totally agree murrel never seems to miss a tackle and his passing and kicking game is emense.Also it looks as if he is forming a great partnership in attack with fieldhouse

Would not disagree at all, particularly at the moment. I have said before I have always thought he was a talent from his early Leeds Academy days and then at HKR. He is still only 27 and is a Super League player in my eyes. You are fortunate to have him and we are fortunate to witness his talents in our league. On Sunday though he was extra special
