They make the choice to support their team as oppose to supporting the Rhinos, same goes with Leigh fans choosing to suuport Leigh as opposed to going up the road to watch Wigan, who have had plenty of glory in the past couple of decades.

People choose to support a club, sometimes because they're taken along by a family member, but sometimes because they have an interest in the sport and they can identify with a club. If you take that identity away, then why should they keep going?
