i can understand but don't condone fighting on the pitch (but it is fun to watch). but why run on and join in? 8 match ban for Lewis hope he'll learn from this

Your honour, I was only offering son No.2 some self preservation advice. The fact that a couple of young men in shirts akin to our main rivals over the last 3 or 4 seasons were attempting to educate him in the rules of the jungle down Fev way is quite relevant in this particular case !!!!
I thought it was a decent effort to stage the brawl in front of the dug-outs so that we could see who was doing what to who without having to squint so badly, it also enabled the locals to point out to the match officials which one of our young men had entered the field of play before it was his turn on his return to his pitch-side position sort of pantomime style.....
Two off from one side & one from the other meant 13 plays 11 at the re-start, now that I did find amusing.
Take care on saturday all in attendance at the league match between the two sides ( it just had to be somehow this week ) even those in the posh seats. I have to say, that was the first occassion I've ever seen the ground stewards have to calm the speccies down at a reserve game.
