it will be a cracking comp again this year mate no doubt. im really happy with the squad at fev this year think its the strongest squad we've had for years and id be Bitterley disappointed if we didnt win owt this year with the money spent. fax will go well and be there or thereabouts as will batley and the eagles but I see the msin threat being leigh this year, only thing is with leigh is they always start well but tend to burnout at the end but if they can keep everyone fit they'll be hard to beat this year. they were out on their ass a couple of years ago so god knows where their getting the money from to sign some of the players they have at the minute. I would have probably said fax are the biggest threat but not now penkys gone , I do think he his that big a loss for u guys and it will be to leighs gain that one. all the best for the season!

I understand that the teams that aren't twinned aren't allowed any Dual Reg players, but that also limits the SL sides on where they can send their players

We've had DRed players from Leeds and Huddersfield (possibly Crusaders? Gil Dudson, only played the once though), Leigh have had players from Warrington and Wigan, but if Leeds can now only send their players to Hunslet, and Bradford send theirs to Dewsbury ect, doesnt that limit them as well?

Is there a problem with this ? The effect of this is that you can only have DR players from one club - which I think is actually good, not bad. It stops abuse of the system by restricting its use. If Fax - or anyone else - decide they want a DR player for a couple of weeks, twin up and end it when the player goes back.
