Quote: Brew "Think about it, this is a business man who brought a club at a rock bottom price, they were in the second tier, the door to the top was about to be slammed shut, and they needed rebuilding.
He got them for little, invested some, and now they're back in the top flight his shares in the club will be worth a lot more than what he paid for them (you'd think so anyway) so now he wants to get a return on his investment'"
But how much has he poured down the toilet to get them where they are now? Which, incidentally is bottom of the SL. If he "sold" the club now he will get little or no money from the sale because it needs more wads of cash just to get rid if the wooden spoon. It needs more Sky money, or a Chairman who lives, breathes and dies for Widnes or ultimately for some part of SL to return to semi- pro status, hence the rumoured change to two SL's of ten.
