I don't buy these "new clubs" at all. Personally, I think the unchanging part of a club is its fanbase. Corporate entities change, club names change, grounds change, players change, directors change, back room staff change. Fans - give or take a few births and deaths - don't. Fans are the most important part of the club.
I didn't see Hunslet as a new club when they novated and I haven't seen fit to change my view at any of the changes that happened since.
And, of course, people are wont to say that we have a new club - or not - depending on which option proves their point.
