Bramhall lane would be a great venue, if they had much bigger crowds, but its simply too big, It is however a lot better than the DVS from a spectator point of view,

Bramall Lane was brilliant for cricket, I saw the last ever County Championship game there. That's when County Grounds were full. I don't know what it's like for Wendy Ball but it is absolutely useless for Rugby League.
I disagree John. Sure it's quiet but then the atmos is never gonna be great anywhere in Sheffield. It's enclosed, it has a cosy feeling to it - as opposed to Don Valley which is just as enthralling as watching amateurs play on Roils Head.
