Just the same tripe and propaganda peddled this week as last. I said something similar after the last show.

Quite simply, sky pay the money, they call the shots and will always use the biggest platform they have to lay out their case. Eddie used to be an honest, up front commentator, he is now a puppet mouthing exactly what the money boys want.

He clearly insinuated that Bradford need the assurance of sl rugby, that the rl need to do this for the good of the game. Bradford were the trend setters of sl in the early years apparently and its unfair on them.

Cobblers and rubbish. They lived above there means and who knows, may have possibly lied in a licence document that directly affected other honest people.
Sky are trying to direct our game as they pay the piper. Well, stuff em, they do hold the power yet won't influence those that understand what's really going on. The show is poor, the commentators are not a patch on nobby, Dave woods and Sheffields hendo.

Must admit the prem sports lot do a grand job of covering the games. They did a great job with the NRC final watched it back 4 times now still not bored of it.

And listening to the other super league chat show thing with Rod Studd and steveo, I actually quite liked Rods assessment about the need to finish this soap opera and basically liquidate and shove em in our league.

What I cant buy is his misguided belief that a new Bradford in a part time competition will sell five thousand season tickets at a hundred and fifty quid each. Apparently generating this new team 750 grand and therefore making them the strongest team in the championship!

How great it is to see it all unravelling around the apologists' ears. First crusaders and now the select few hiding their failings behind licencing. Boy does it look ever more like licencing is to be used to create an artificial super league!

Imagine if this happened in football? How clever Lewis was to bolt when he did and how can Wood keep his job? Unbelievable

What's the betting if bulls get kicked out they will have a larger salary cap and be allowed to run their own academies - ticking boxes the rest of the championship sides will never be able to tick!

One other thing - super league needs Bradford cos they have lots of fans whereas a few years ago super league needed crusaders cos they have no fans!

Currently all they are doing is pushing bad practices, ie. cheap, unsustainable season tickets. Bulls only have that many 'fans' due to cheap prices. We'd all buy a similar lager in the supermarket if it was a third of the price (unless we drink cider that is).

People still watch this SL propaganda rubbish ? Too much other better stuff to do in life than get oneself all agitated listening to their crap.
Rugby league at the top level is on it's backside but heavily reliant on the SKY money, the death money that they all accepted back in the day that almost killed most of the clubs outside of SL & beyond. They have to stay loyal to their sugar daddy SKY broadcasting, I don't even bother considering watching that drivel anymore.
The aim was to improve the international competition, I see no improvement whatsoever, France are no nearer England/GB/whoever gets selected for our country ( which in itself is a joke ), we are no nearer the Ausssies, so expansion failed. I see an improvement with Catalans but none in Wales or London.
The governing body the RFL now have their hands on the mini-mod kids playing the game in summer up to something like U12's, so by the time they filter through to U18's all junior RL will be played in summer.
The game is bent beyond belief.
