An excellent post, but, i'm not sure it is US that have changed.
It's US that can't seem to change with the times.
Rewind, Winter Rugby, played at Thrum Hall, 1987 cup winners, 1988 cup loosers, 1989, relegated, 1990 average crowd in the second division 7000.
Then comes summer Rugby,
"Don't like summer Rugby, crowds down,
Move to the Shay,
"Don't like the Shay, crowds down.
Then comes relegation,
"Rather watch the Bulls"
The problem is that Joe Public has fallen out with Rugby League.
Thankfully my name isn't Joe Public, and I love Rugby League, always have always will.
