I like this. Forget Royston, this lad has the potential to be far better if he isnt already. Like has been said best FB outside SL AINEC.
Lets face it Royston was crap under the high ball and steady in defence and obviously good in attack. Fieldhouse is safe as houses under the high ball but not only that he splits the line seemingly at will and his support play is pretty good as well. He has a few defensive frailties that he needs to work on but is still very young and easily could iron them out with a bit of work.
Delighted to have Ryan onboard for at least another couple of years and weel done to all involved that have made it happen.
Apart from the obvious signing it shows some loyalty from him that having beeen given a chance and taking it he stays with us apparantly amidst some interest from other parties.
