Fax have not been playing well in recent weeks although it was a much improved performance at the LSV last week and despite what people are saying about Fev they are still the outstanding team of the competition so I am afraid I can only see 1 winner but I hope I am wrong. Looking forward to a few pre match pints in Wakefield and having a drink with you Fev fans in the bar at the ground.

You may well thrash Fax RFF. I rate you highly. That is why I backed you to beat Cas and won a lot of money in the process. However, I expected the Swinton match to be a real tough one for you and it was. You haven't had a very typical run of fixtures lately and that perhaps explains you scraping through against Swinton and having a freakish match with Sheffield. I would not have given the Lions a prayer against you in normal circumstances, but that is my point, circumstances haven't been normal have they?
Halifax were sitting pretty at the top when they met Leigh and I think we were about 7th, but I didn't feel there was a lot between us. They had done well against Sheffield, but other than that had scraped through against London Skolars in the NRC and York in the league for example. The 2 defeats to Leigh may have given them a reality check. They are a good side, but will now probably have an even greater desire to prove it. They improved markedly in the second match against us. This league is a tough one and it should be a cracking match between the two of you. Who needs SL?

As I said, I am expecting it to be a very tough match for both teams. I think the result could go either way. I still maintain it is a better time to be playing Fev than a few weeks down the line. The points will obviously be very valuable to whoever comes out on top, but there will still be a lot of rugby to be played and I do not think the result will be a true indicator as to either team's potential for the rest of the season. For example, Swinton could genuinely have beaten Fev, but it still didn't make me think they were going to become a real force in the division. I obviously feel they will finish outside the top 6.
Of course, I expect both of you to be up there, but Fev really haven't had a typical run of fixtures lately and owt can happen. Despite losing to Leigh, Fax still have a reasonable chance in this one IMO. It's obviously all on the day.

Its the most competitive league for years, i reckon this seasons league leaders shield could go to a side losing 4-5 games.

I would hope Fax raise there game hugely after a recent poor run, which i believe was on the cards when we scraped past Keighley.
