guys we're playing the team thats currently third in the league, coming off the back of a great win at sheffield but all your crowd forecasts are around 2000. What do we have to do to attract a large crowd? its a big game at home on a holiday weekend, not on tv. . .

as i said on another thread given the problems at odsal following those similar ones at other super league clubs who were "vetted" and received licences from the rfl, only to be found out later to have told a few "fairy tales" in their applications means that now(this Friday) would be the perfect opportunity to register a record crowd at the shay

it would mean some red faces at you know where, would be even redder and I for one woud love to be able to say "we told you so!" So if you are wondering whether or not to come, please come and better yet bring a mate or better yet bring loads of mates. . . . . preferably all in blue and white

it would be a big statement particularly this weekend

I think everyone on here reading your post will be going, and would try and bring a friend if they can. I hope the club are doing their bit as well. Is the game being promoted at all?

My Mum and stepdad are coming along who do not normally come however my Dad, Bother and Eddie will still be in Sri Lanka who normally do come. As for the game itself this one will be very tough

Exactly. It's ok asking people on here to get down but we already will be. If we want a massive uplift in crowd figures then the club needs to start being visible in the community and actively market the games. We can't just sit and hope that people will come flooding back.
