I bet you lot would love it not to work with Raynor The real facts are, the man scores tries, and returns the ball very well and has done so at he highest level consistently.
He scored two tries for the "Dulls" in last years cup against who i forget! one of them he took an inside ball from a scrum turned on the afterburners and blew the opposing defence away
Just as a side point, Mark Calderwood was in the Sunday People (I think, never sure what paper I buy now there's no NOTW) and says he's still looking for a club, hoping for SL but if not would go to a "Yorkshire Based" Championship club.
Don't think we'd need him with the back line options we have, but he'd do a job for someone, he's coaching and playing in the Pennine League somewhere at the moment
Quote: rugbyball "As for Aizue you could be right the reduction in interchanges could well suit his impact style and being a year older than Raynor he must be hitting his prime!'"
we'll see.
Like I said, if it doesn't work out, c'est la vie.
Many a rovers argue that Tom Carr is worthy of the shirt regardless. Some say Raynor will score a hat full at this level. Time will tell but I can't for the life of me see on what basis you arrive at your conclusion, not that it should matter what I think like!
