Went to Cougar's squad launch last night as I live in Keighley thought I'd have a look at the Boxing Day’s opposition, got to say they've signed on paper what should be a very strong squad. I hope they do well except against us.
The night was started with their Chairman getting on stage to announce another new signing 'Semi Tadulala' along with rest of his squad. Then said they would be defo' top four this season, also be making a trip to Blackpool and then promised all present that they would beat FAX by [uAT LEAST [/u 20 points on boxing day. Said that other championship teams had been moaning about all their suppa doopa signings named Batley who’d supposedly said cougars couldn’t be within their salary cap said that Fax had been asking him how to get sponsorship cos he’s so good at getting it. Finished meeting saying that this was all in order to get Cougars into Super Doopa League in next round of franchises.
I actually spoke to him after and he repeated again that it was not a empty promise ref' boxing day and said that the reason Fax didn't get into Super League was cos our application was the worst written document that the RFL had ever seen, I hope the Mr Steele reads this and [ubumps[/u into him on boxing day. Got the impression he doesn’t think very highly of how our club is run.
God I can’t wait for Boxing Day now. COME ON FAX!
