I've also just read a newspaper article that Mr. Johnston is still a director and is owed about £110k. I didn't think he was allowed any involvement in rugby league or does being a director of a club not count?

If they don't severe ties then Barrow run the risk of being expelled from the league.

No disrespect, but with the state of the ground and to be fair the state of the area, and the economy in that area, how much could they raise as a loan? and with their gates how would they pay it back?
I have gone on record as saying I wish Barrow were still in our league and I wish them well.
But,

If they go bust then Des would lose his money I guess - Karma?

They may then be able to start again without all this hanging over them.
Would feel for anybody else though who is owed money.

i think if they go bust they could lose the ground,if that happens they've nowhere to play, it wouldn't take long for another supermarket or another housing estaste to go up.
