To turn around four days and then beat a week's rested Leigh, away from home? Sheesh - that's a mighty task. Then to go on and beat the best team in this league who will be so fired up after we destroyed them last year?

It would truly be an amazing feat. If we do end up lifting that trophy again it will surpass the efforts of 1987. It may not be as glamorous - but it would surely surpass it.

Well, Daryl Powell looked pretty destroyed after that DG. That's what I meant - we destroyed the victory you thought you had at half time. You're chokers. You choked last year, you choked in the NRC Semi - you choke. But yes, as I said in my post if you read it properly - you are the best team in this league. You just choke when It matters though. I guess you could be called "faux champions".

Especially when, on the first occasion it made us championies, and the next it gave us a day out in Blackpool.

powell was dejected so were the team, but has it destroyed us no I don't think it has , to finish top of the league again this season proves that, I'm sure fev will learn from the two defeats and to me they look as determined as ever to go one better this year. I still say fev were the better team in the grand final and had a poor 20 minutes of a great season and were punished.
