Quote: Faxhali "The dogs are a very well drilled team, they have home advantage, a slopped pitch and everything to play for.
Dylan Nash is out for us and i think we will miss him big time tonight, Goddard is back but i would prefer Nash on the pitch if he is fit, Look at what he did at fev, Great in the air and if we cant get through the line then he is certainly a aerial attacking player to catch the kick over. Bowman is back fit but i would leave him out and hope Black, Jones, Penky, White, Worrincy, Greenwood, Beswick play fast rugby and get at em with quick play of the ball and we will win. Its about the play of the ball and the referee to have a good game.'"
Will be difficult to play fast rugby with the rain over the last two days on the Mount Pleasant pitch. Be more safety first and not dropping the ball . Batley have not played since before the Challenge Cup Final and have had two weeks to prepare for this game so should be rested and at full strength. Halifax have had a four day turnaround .
Not predicting the result but expecting a good close game with Batley the slight favourites. The key tonight could be Sam Barlow's discipline when the Batley players start winding him up.when he just plays rugby a good forward but when he loses it a liability.
