I hope this is a wind-up.At such short notice i am not impressed. We are going to York races on Saturday and staying over for the game. It has been extremely difficult finding accomodation, please can this fixture change be confirmed.

Unfortunately sounds like its correct, in the York Press this morning,
The Ebor race meeting is also on that day, so could be traffic problems.

From a Knights point of view, not at all happy, gives our lads 4 days to
recover from Leigh away, at least your lads will still get the 7 day break
between games.

Looks like York will remain one of the few grounds I havn't been to, unlikely i'll be able to make it, bit of a farcial situation, are the Trust going to rally against this too?

It's York races on the Thursday as well so the roads around York will be packed if your coming better set off early.

The first of many events in aid of James Haleys testimonial. For all of those who are not aware James has now been at Halifax RLFC for 10 years! In mark of this we will be holiding events throughout the year to celebrate, starting with a night at the Shay. For all you fans this is also the last under 23's game against York.

There will be a chance to see all upcoming events, buy tickets for the testimonial game against Australias Burly Bears, the halloween ball and Christmas raffle.
