Trust you lot to find form last night! Well done - you played like the 'Fax we have come to know at Leigh, with attacking rugby at its best. What's more, you added an excellent defence too - although our somewhat predictable efforts were probably quite easy to contain.

One final thought - what might the score have been, if you hadn't 'declared' at half time?

It was like the pretenders against the real deal last night. Leigh the best attacking side in the comp this year against the masters of attacking rugby and it certainly looks like normal service was resumed. 94% completion rate in the first half and because of that Leigh didnt really stand a chance. Lets hope this isnt a false dawn because we certainly looked good with Nobby`s steely defence mixed with MC`s attacking flair. On that performance we have shown once again we can beat anyone in the league, if we can sneak in the playoffs who would fancy playing us when we can pull a performance like that out.

We were very good but I am annoyed with our new coach of Seanfax who clearly been showing Nash and Worrincy how to stick their arms out to knock on for inceptions LOL!

THat result will have stoked up the Hunslet headhunters for next week, we know we can beat them at rugby so hopefully a strong ref, in fact can we take last nights ref with us all season.

Despite the idiots at Red Hall trying to kill the game below SL off, that game really cheered me up. OK LOeigh do have problems but Fax have been awful most of the year. I was impressed with everybody and the team (Players and Coaches) deserve a massive pat on the back just for the tackling sting in the 2nd half alone. Leigh were camped on our line for a good 10-15 minutes but never got through. The defence and commitment was top notch. The players that we have been knocking to some extent really stood up. Nash was top notch and unlucky not to get a couple of tries. Black and Jones were everywhere. Greenwood looked to be a different player and his pass late in the first half was quality. Was impressed with the new lad Gil who made some very good runs and was difficult to stop as was Aizue and Barlow.
Going on that performance I dont fear Fax going to Fav at all and think we could get a win. Hunslet will be at their best of playing dirty and slowing the ball down etc. I just hope Fax and other Championship teams are allowed to compete at a higher level soon. The RFL are killing the game and its very sad to see Leigh struggle and hope that somebody can step in. I dont think the way the RFL run the game has helped any championship team and why we all get small gates now. Keep it up Fax and all the best to Leigh in their current problems. Well done Ref as well for making a good game more enjoyable.
