Im not going. my lad asked if we were going and I've had to say no. No disrespect to the normal Fev Fans, but when a club is providing secure car parking for away fans private cars and supporters coaches, then saying that they will keep the away fans behind until the home supporters have left, tells me that the home club is as worried about trouble happening as we are.

Perhaps the Fev board should apply to play their games in the Football Championship League so their fans can fight all they want with the other morons who spoil the round ball game. It makes me sad to think that me and my son cant go watch Fax because of the worry of violence. This RL not Football eusa_naughty.gif

Quote: Rarefrith "There's absolutely no reason to be scared, its a game of rugby. How much has happened when Fax previously visited Fev over the years? Minor incidents maybe but its the same the other way round, my uncle was once beat up by several blokes at Thrum Hall years ago but it has no bearing on anything. I'm a massive football fan too and have been all over the country supporting my team, believe me there's nothing to fear from any rugby league matches compared to football matches and the vast majority of football matches pass without any major incidents.'"

I too are a massive football fan and have traveled all over the country supporting my team and going to Fev holds no fears for me like I said I wish I was going however a man still lies in hospital in a bad way and lucky to be alive even if thats 1 in a billion incident its enough to put off a lot of people especially when the person responsible is still at large. My Brother and some friends have gone on the train via Pontefract I know for fact they will make a point of having a drink or 2 around fev and in the ground before and after the game and mingle with the Fev fans just as I would if I was there. I really hope to be at the Northern Rail Semi Final.

And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death. The weekend starts on a Monday.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_46669.jpg

Perhaps you would like to enlighten us at which game it was at Thrum Hall.

Leaving here at 1.30 our usual crowd plus 3 who seldom go away.
Age range 62 to 8. Regretably our 6 year old member is unable to go due to a party, but he would be with us if he could.
Travelling in 3 cars we are undecided where to park, will decide when we get there.
We feel it is important to show the players and the club the support that is needed.
Will report after the game. (Hopefully)

Quote: johnny freeman fan club "Got to agree with this post , I am not going either as the very idea that you should be shepherded in and out and then have to be kept behind so the home team fans get away smacks of football. I don`t want any part of that carry on , what Fev should do is hire a few police every match to catch and then ban for life anyone causing trouble. If it costs the Club money then so be it , if they had nipped it in the bud some time ago it wouldn`t be escalating to this somewhat distastful situation.'"
