I wouldnt imagine you would get much gloating from our lot, We know how it feels.

Fax are a great club and should you fail to beat any existing SL clubs ( thats a lot to ask of any Championship club ) you will hopefully be better prepared next time. For me your main danger then will be Leigh, they certainly seem to be a club on the up and should be in a strong position come the next round.

One thing im not sure on but i dont think the Championship club promotion garuntee is still in place during the next 3 year process. Unless the RFL will anounce that in due time. I would have been completely devastated had we been refused today, Just get that youth system up and running and it will be hard to say no to you next time.

Totally agree on the Leigh point, they will be hard to beat from now on and how come on a lot this last couple of years, will be good to see how you go against them on Thursday given last times results, guess you will be fighting back so could be a good game to watch.

To have gloated or came on here with a high and mighty would have cheapened the day and the dignified response of the other vikings supporters. I appreciate that it is far easier to be gracious in victory than defeat but I'm grateful no one came on here embarrassing the club. There is a genuine level of respect between the two fans that doesn't need to be shattered by this.
