Peanuts these bans compared with BARLA say 6 games for a bit of a set too (ridiculous for lads who are playing the game for fun, thuggery fair enough, ban em for months teams like Queens and some others who take it beyond the acceptable which seems to be a bit of a South Leeds thing but let down by weak refereeing).
If they dished those out in not so Super League there would be a riot from the likes of Hetherington and the money boys!
I remember Paul Mannson getting an eight match ban whilst playing for the Dons, as a result of a lazy high tackle, and although i'm a bit biased by being a Donny fan, i don't think he was that type of player.
