He isn't fit - he might start the season but he isnt fit and he certainly won't finish it.
Gleese is a top player when fit but three first class hookers aren't needed. We paid the price for two many pivots with paper thin defence. With Beswick & Penky at 9 and Sam at 13 we are going to muscle up in the line - as we did in the GF.
Hard to say we will miss him because he hardly played last year.
Good luck to him though.
Barra now have Gleese, Thackeray and Matty James - hope Des is keeping up the medical insurance premiums!
