I have been following the threads about the ‘Barlow affair’ on both sites and am amazed at the puerile comments coming from a few posters about not visiting Sheffield so they lose gate money. I would like to point out to these people that in 2006 Halifax were very close to liquidation and Rugby League supporters nationwide helped out by visiting Fax for their home games. I amongst other Sheffield Eagles supporters did this more than once, so to read these comments makes me very angry, but will not deter me from supporting my own club when they play in Halifax next season. Grow up and get on with watching and supporting Rugby League.

The thing that bothers me about going to Sheffield is the stupid ticketing system. But I know about that now, and I may have to set off a bit earlier (and hopefully Sheff Utd will have learned as well). I support the Fax, and it was actually pretty good feeling being "at home... away" (as we had the majority of fans) in a pretty decent stadium (the Shay is fine as well, but still not a patch on Thrum Hall - rose tinted glasses time!). I'll be at Bramhall Lane next season (if it's a Thursday night, maybe not though).

The thing that bothers me about Fev is whether we're safe to go there or not. I'm sure that a vast majority of Fev fans are fantastic, fervent supporters of their club and team. However, feelings are bound to be running high next season after what happened in Warrington, and I don't feel I can risk the safety of myself and (in particular) my son by attending that particular game.

On the Sam Barlow affair, we shouldn't have played him against Sheffield. The "morally wrong" statement probably sums it up. No rules broken, but not in the spirit of the game.

Fax were morally wrong. The way the fat moaning dwarf Aston acts I could not give a stuff to be quite frank. The RFL should have sorted this problem out but didnt. I do not feel Fax should have given any money to the Pidgeons just because playing barlow was morally wrong. What Cas and Brad Davies did was morally wrong so its not just Fax. How Aston reacted with both Rob and Sam is also morally wrong by sending messages to hurt them but tiny band of sheffield fans like the dwarf forget them bits.

Both breaches of the law. I condemn them both.
