Matt Calland has been to see Dave and was in shock how bad Dave is and was close to tears. He left a couple of Shirts/T-Shirts and Signed Team Photo with Daves Parents and has promised that when Dave is awake and in a better way that the players will visit Dave with the Trophy etc and will look to invite him to training etc. Think thats a great gesture from Matt, the Players and the Club.
Dave is still on a ventilator but they have taken him out of his enduced Coma but although his eyes are flickering he is not responding to when people speak or similar. The prognosis is still too early to say how bad David will be affected from his injuries. The Parents once again would like to thank everybody from Neighbours and friends to Fans and people involved with Rugby League and sport in general for the love and concern shown to Dave and themselves. It means alot to them

Was wondering if their is such a thing as say a big online 'get well soon' type card? Similar to how you would sign a petition but it would allow all fans to wish Dave all the best? Maybe a picture of Fax lifting Championship trophy as the main focus?

Ino that Andrea's Gift help out in the neurology dept at LGI (main) and several other hospitals.
i can have a word with Carol Robertson a Representative for andrea's gift if she knows who help out with the hospital dave is in. |
