Only Rovers fans could half kick someone to death and then sit back and pollish their halos. I was sat in the north stand with my wife and you could quite clearly see the Police dragging Rovers Fans out of the south stand way before the fire even started.

It was also quite clear that before many of the Fax fans had even got onto the pitch, the Rovers fans were surging at the line of stewards and police. How you can blame others for your own diabolical behaviour is beyond me.

There were atleast 2 Fev fans that had to go after we scored our 1st try as we all started chanting 'throw them out'.

As I mentioned on another thread. Why are people trying to work out who goaded who first? Christ on a bike, of the 100's of sports games i've been to there's rarely been a game where there wasn't goading or banter, if every Halifax fan came on to the pitch and one-by-one stuck the middle finger up at Fev, that's not a good enough reason to charge down to start a fight.

Just stick one back up at us. Have these people got no self-control. Nevermind that not ALL Halifax fans did do that (clearly some were) but none wanted a chuffing fight.

Out of all the photos I have here, all the ones of Fax fans are them smiling and waving at Fev fans etc (as i say, some still stuck the finger up, but not a constant enough stream to clearly be caught on camera). The one's of Fev fans are slightly different though.

The fev fans reacted the way they did becuase of the pathetic tannoy system, nobody head that there was a fire and thought it was a pitch invasion. The Halifax fans reacted the way they did because of the reaction of the Fev fans. Can people please stop merging a few incidents into one massive riot. It could quite easily be much worse if the Police and Stewards weren't there to stop the Fev fans from getting onto the pitch.

I only saw one piece of violence the entire day and that was the assault on David. I spent four hours in pubs around the ground with Fev fans and there was nothing but good banter. Thats what I will choose to remember.
