I can only assume that in these days of cutbacks at the BBC that Roe comes cheap.

I was furious about the comments made by Peter Roe this coverage was on one of our 'innocent fans' fighting for his life after two operations need for his head injury. I have contacted The BBC also this morning to complain about the biased and incorrect comments made. This is totally unacceptable! The Fax fans behaved impeccably during the evacuation of the East Stand whilst coverage on TV shows the Featherstone fans trying to get on to the pitch!! A group of us were in Spoons having a drink and a laugh until it was mobbed by Featherstone fans shouting abuse and intimidating us the police were called then to control them we left the pub and was abused and intimidated in the street the last pub we called in just down from the Halliwell Jones stadium was mainly Fax fans but was once again mobbed by Fev fans out for trouble I was very upset and feared for our saftey one guy actually came over and said to me "get out now cos its gonna kick off" that was easier said than done as we were by now backed into the back of the pub. We don't want this sort of behaviour in our wonderful game and the RFL need to act on these clubs!! Maybe Featherstone should play their games behind locked gates next season!!1

I still love the fact that if you're being goaded you NEED to run on the pitch on have a fight. Like it's clearly just second nature and no one has any self control.



Last match I was at where the 'goaded' excuse was used was Away at Luton where because we goaded them from afar, 500 of them HAD to run onto the pitch and throw coins at us for 15 minutes. Peter Roe and some Fev fans must also see them in the right aswell....

Regarding what Peter said, which part of it do you feel was inaccurate. I too saw a MINORITY of Fax fans appearing to goad Fev fans when they came onto the pitch and several Rovers supporters trying to breach the police corden as a result. However as i'm sure you were much closer to the action i'm happy to be corrected and i can speak to Peter if needs be.

As i'm sure you're aware there's a small collection of morons following every single rugby league club and it's incredibly sad that right minded fans like yourself are tainted with that particular brush.

Our thoughts are with Mr Singer and his family and hopefully those responsible can be punished for what they have done.

It was a strange strange day for a number of reasons and to cap it all off we saw a supporter assault a woman in the car park as we were leaving which wasn't great. Thankfully the police weren't far away and intervened!

I have to say the initial shot in the Look North piece of fans on the field accompanied with the script "tensions were running high" is more than a little misleading and would lead someone to think they had come onto the field to riot rather than as part of the evacuation!

If you are going to reply, I suggest that you tell him, that when the halifax fans were evacuated onto to the pitch, the Featherstone fans sang, which can be clearly heard on the sky tv recordin, the W..nky, W..nky song to which a few Halifax fans then went over to them.

If any incitement was created it was purely down to the collection of morons (his words not mine) stood on the Featherstone terracing.

This was in no way reflected by Peter Rowe, who firmly put the blame on the Halifax fans.

Notice he doesn't say which club the assailant or victim were representing.

They were having trouble with the Fev fans well before the Fax fans were asked to go on the pitch. From practicly the start of the match stewards were trying to get them off the yellow no standing bits and there were announcements made over the tannoy telling them to get off the no standing areas . The police moved into the crowd and tried to sort them out.

Peter Roe is a sad waste of human oxygen. We was intimidated by the fev mob from midday a friend of mine was in tears because she felt so intimidated. No place for these yobs in our game.

Even the unfortunate events of Sunday would do well to take the gloss of that day for most. It's only because it is still fresh in the memory. In a year or 2's time [imost[/i will simply look back at it as the day we became Champions.
