Just how did you expect the game to be reported on a FEATHERSTONE ROVERS website.
Of course it's going to be biased towards the Rovers as I am sure official Halifax reports will be towards Fax.

Just for the record, you will find that the majority of true Rovers fans including myself congratulate you on your great win. It was a truly fantastic comeback. We should have put the game to bed but Fax made us pay for that. At the game I honestly thought that we had been the better side in general, but having watched the game on tv I now feel that Fax dominated for the greater part of the game and fully deserved the win.

AND YES Halifax are the champions.

I do not agree for one minute with the play off format, I have always belived that the team finishing top of the league should be crowned champions and in my eyes the Rovers are just that.
However we knew the rules at the start of the season and history will show that Halifax are the 2010 champions. - Good enough for you ?

PS, sincere best wishes for next year, I hope it is a good a league has it has been this year.

To be fair apparently Matt Calland was saying we would have kicked off. To expect a team to be able to drive it up 70m at Wire in a tense final is unrealistic and we got 'lucky' with the charge down. Don't forget Wire actually is 100m long whereas Cas is only about 80m and it was a beast of a drop goal.

The key play for me was Penkys half break without that Fax wouldn't of been in field position for the charged down attempt and Fev would of likely of got some ball!

Rugby league is a game of eighty one and a half minutes when you're champions on grand final day.

Fev weren't good enough to win it in eighty, 22-4 and they f***** it up.....

The whole season depends on this, Logo for t-shirts anyone ?

Completely agree. Calland made a brave and bold decision to throw on all our playmakers at once and it came up trumps for us.
