Caused by an electrical fault according to the official statement. If it was a Fax fan that did the torching at HJ then I'm sure the CCTV will have them entering and leaving the area and the rozzers will be able to interview them at a later date.

That was just smoke coming from the turnstiles at being spun round twice for every person that entered.

Must have been smuggled in as they've never sold chips at the HJ....Ohhhhhh BBC website...WTF do they know about facts.

Appears the fire started after a discarded cigarette was deliberatly thrown under a door into a storeage cupboard (whoever it was must have forgotten to flush before leaving the toilets). The main thing from the incident is that everybody was evacuted from the incident safely.

Well of course I backed it up I posted a report from Cheshire Fire service. Now dont give it " it was oldham" they had left a long time before the fire started

Until CCTV or arrests are made I think that it is prefectly clear that 1/2 full end of fax fans had something to do with it.

So you back it up that it wasnt fax fans.

Ive just read the "report" from cheshire fire service and nowhere does it say that the fire was started by a Halifax fan.

Infact if you read the report out of context it could be inferred that there were only Halifax and Fev fans in the ground at the time as no other teams were mentioned but at the time of the fire there were supporters from other clubs in ALL stands.

I'm not making any accusations, because I don't know who started it; I wasn't in the vicinity of the incident. And, I can bloody well good guess that you weren't either. You are making an unfounded accusation that ALL Fax fans are pyromaniacs without producing any evidence.

ONE fan did a stupid thing just as ONE fan did the same at The Shay. If anything from this is fact it's that only ONE person caused it. So how are we 'all' a 'bunch' of fire starters? The other 2,999 were clearly not involved.

Some folk are getting very touchy for one person's foolishness. It happend, that person's an idiot. Let it go.
