Alot of the Halifax Boys who come come from Australia end up staying, I used to go into the Falcon pub, my local when it was superleague days, Gavin Clinch, Des Clarke and Damien Gibson used to come in for games of pool as they lived around the back, Des went to france, Clinch lived ( still might ) in queensbury, Gibbo was a Fans Favourite, Still is in my eyes, did a hell of a lot for Rugby in and around halifax and still does at calderdale college. He stayed, Blacky Looks like he could be the next to stay.

Players are professionals and do a job - regardless of where they play. I'm not disagreeing that they give their all or play with pride, passion etc, but 'playing for the badge' is I feel an outdated motif these days. Players [and clubs] no longer have the same loyalties and the longevity of players relationships are not what they once were.

Take your point tho. Doesn't really matter where they're from, as long as they give there all throughout their contract with that club.
