I hate it when some fans for whatever team use a Grand Final as a basis of how many fans they've got.

At the end of the day, Fev's average is 2,000 ours is 2,350 and we're all going to go with our mates etc and that's all that matters. If Fev took 1,000 more than us, doesn't mean they have 'better' supporters or more fans,just means some more locals came with them as day-trippers than us.

I'm reminded of last year's conference final where 35,000 Oxford fans turned up and suddenly they were going 'WE have 35,00 fans' yet 1st day back in the football league there were still plenty of empty seats in a 11,000 capacity crowd.

It means nothing and is no relation to the quality of the clubs or the individuals support, I wouldn't let it get to you.

So your start by saying you hate it then finish by saying don't let it get to you.

Your club is the one making all the announcements about how many tickets it sold and how big the quews have been.

My thoughts exactly. Both sets of fans will make a right old racket, leading to the atmosphere expected of such an occasion. What counts is that both sets of fans make this a day to remember for the right reasons.

That Fev forum is pathetic.. Leave them too it... There are many decent Fev fans out there it just seems many of the Johnny ten men post on that forum.

Speaking as objectively as I can, I find little difference to this forum to be honest!

The key stat for attend over the season show we avg > 600 per game more than FEV.

That stat will not be affected by GF and unfortunately for FEV is the one that counts by the RFL.

All this tittle tattle over support at GF is therefore irrelevant, we've already won that battle!
