I'm sure the ref only yellow carded Barlow, reckon Widnes number 10 and Maloney were lucky to stay on the pitch, had missed Sam's involvement in the whole thing from my angle. My little lad was well chuffed though, said he wants to come all the time now, amazing what a bit of biff does.

Thing the guy sent off chucked a haymaker at the bald headed tough guy that plays for widnes when it was calming down hence re-igniting the fight (cant remember his name) Good old fashioned punch ups, we see them most weeks watching blackpool panthers. Seem to be more punishment in Super league and championship than our league.

When he left the field i thought he went straight down the tunnel. They did not show him getting the red card on sky, they just put up the graphic as he left the field.

in fairness sky showed it as a sending off and on the replays he did run in throwin a punch whilst flyin through the air lol, but gaskells challenge was on nash' head so fair play to barlow

just re-watched it, and it looks like although gaskells tackle looks high, there is a swinging right arm from kavanagh that seems to upset nash.

He went in swinging and missed the widnes player and smacked Nash instead.

I noticed Barlow was shaking hands at the end of the game. If he was sent off wouldn't he have been banished to the dressing rooms?
