From an outsiders point of view fax's problem seems to be that they are paying players (most think are the best in the league) too much money to secure their services (gleesongate springs to mind) adn although you have a bigger fan base than say fev, it means that you literally can't afford a second team...... this has a knock on effect when you get injuries like you have now and all moan about bare bones (when you openly say you want a play off team not a second team) it goes with the territory... we now have 6 first teamers injured or unavailbale for the forseeable but we've got the back ups in the team below.........all well coached and know their job when they step up

Maybe you should get a better coach who can turn so called lesser quality players in a table topping team, save some money on the "names" and OAP's you sign and run a second team

What beats me is that everyone who posts on these boards and on the Evening Worrier are experts, but they are only armchair experts. Its very much like the 1000's of referees who go to the game week in week out.

I would suggest if it was Simples that everyone would be unbeatable and top of the league, oh wait a minute everyone cant be top of the league!!!!!!

I dont know if Calland is the problem, or the fact that we are playing "bare bones" or the fact that we dont run a second team or the fact that the pies in the east stand cost too much is the problem.

All I know is that I am a Halifax fan and I will get behind them 100% and HAVE to accept that the Board of Directors (who do a thankless task by the sound of everyones post) are running the club to the best of their abilities.

We have a couple of weeks to patch people up again. We all know we will be a different team with Patterson, Gleeson, Penky, Stan, Greenwood, Hayley etc, etc available, and hopefully we can get some fit bodies available as we push towards the business end of the season.

however Spanish Bob, i feel beacuse the paint on the roof of the skircoat stand is light grey instead of Blue and white the boad and coaching staff should be sacked, they have no paission, this lack of color schemeing shows it!

We could afford it but decide to spend it on alleged top players! Do you think Gene and Aizue have been cheap? We do not need a Sugar Daddy to beat Fev, Hunslet and Dewsbury-but we cant even manage that despite having more money than those clubs. We do need a second team as then the likes of Roberts, Bowman, Fleming, Cherryholme would atleast be getting game time and match fitness and not just sat around doing nothing! Where is the incentive for a player when he never gets to play except maybe 4 or 5 times a year? How do you brng the young players through like Fleming when you have no Reserve or Academy team for them to play in? Its now how much you spend its what you spend it on.

In answer to your last question, the SL clubs farm the lads out. You don't develop into a 1st team player by playing in the stiffs, totally different game.

Even though I didn't expect you guys to lose, I would have expected Dewbury to run you close.

They play some good stuff and are in a false position IMHO.

Plenty of time yet. Leigh have some massive games (all away) in July, and your game with Barrow is huge for all clubs in the top 4.

Its a great league. Keighley played some good staff against Leigh at times too apparently !
