To be honest I am happy with a bonus point tonight as we were pretty much down to bare bones player wise then we lose Gleese mid way through the first half and after a short turn around we were always going to struggle against a confident top of table team that looked fresh after their 10 days off...

i cant say im a massive fan of calland but i dont think we can blame him for tonights defeat as we had many chances but it was down to poor individual performance, blacky dropping the ball despite playin some good kickin options and penky knockin on from the play off the ball, aizue isnt worth the time or space. Frank and Nash played well tonight but other than that nothin positive well played Fev.

Matt doesnt play but the structure out there was embarassing, either they carry out poor orders, or ignore orders, either way Matts got to shoulder responsibility, which is not new.
Forget refs mugging us, some of that rabble are mugging us, they were embarassing, and Matt Calland in charge.

Very very very poor tonight. No idea what to do anywhere on the field. Branighan, Bannister and Watene seemed to be the only players who turned up tonight. We really aren't going to get anywhere with Calland in charge. He keeps saying "we'll work on our defense" "we'll work on our discipline" well I'm sorry but it's obviously not working. Just to point out i'm not calling for Callands head as soon as we lose, i've not been keen on him for a good while now. What happened to this idea of him standing in the dugouts with the rest of the team?

Credit to Fev, nothing fancy they played it very simple and that's all they needed to do. And their defense was top notch. No "big" players but very well drilled.

thats a fair point but droppin the ball and picking the ball up isnt something calland should take the blame for, these are sloppy basic errors, however he can be blamed for playin Aizue....please please get shut of him.

When you are dominated by a stronger defence like we were you are made to look hopeless in attack!

Our plays were slow - they put us on our backs every tackle and as a consequence no forward momentum and a lot of static flat plays.

MC can prepare them for all the moves in the world but if your not controlling the ruck forget it!

Yeah Azuie has been a massive disappointment, he hasnt done anything that a young lad couldnt do for us, i think we have bought someone whos ready for a vets league, and hell be joined by a few others next year.

No he won't cos now we have lost Martin Hall we have no one to bring in the quality of player that we'll need to replace Larder and the rest, we'll get stuck with whatever shoite calland can pull in and if today is anything to go by we're going to struggle to reach the playoffs next year.
