The Leigh Mods have locked the thread appealing to identify the culprits on their board. The Mod has said the thread will still exist though, so the authorities will be able to review it. I respect their right to do this. I'm not sure what our Mods views are on this but I think it is right that those concerned are brought to justice. The forum has provided a way to collect evidence. No unsubstantiated claims have been made therefore it is in the interests of justice to permit this thread.
Although the Mod on the other site claims it is not evidence, the witness accounts, position of the offenders in the stand and firm ID's have been made. I trust this can now be followed up via CCTV. This should show the stewards going up and warning the individuals about racist behaviour and might show the spitting incident at the final hooter. If people want to give their accounts to the police they can do so on 0161 872 5050.
